True Tides are Cian, Conor and Eoghan MacSweeny. The three brothers play energetic pop music with irresistible hooks and layered vocal harmonies at its core and have established themselves as a buzz act in Ireland since their debut last year.
Their single ‘Automatic’ achieved widespread national and local air-play, staying in the Top 20 Irish Radio charts throughout late 2018. They sold out their first headline show at The Soundhouse, Dublin, played their first headline tour in 2019 to packed-out venues around Ireland including Whelans, Dublin and played main stage at Indiependence, Cork. They also supported The Coronas, All Tvvins, The Academic and Wild Youth at sold out shows across Ireland including Independent Park stadium in Cork, The Big Top at Galway, Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, The Opera House in Cork, Ulster Hall in Belfast, Dolans in Limerick and The Olympia in Dublin.
True Tides were included on the 2FM Rising list 2019 (national radio), headlined the 2FM Rising stage at the iconic Other Voices festival in Dingle and made their national television debut on The Late Late Show in April this year playing their single ‘Automatic’. Their three singles continue to receive regular rotation on national and local radio around Ireland and have featured on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday UK and Indiemono.
True Tides will be supporting Picture This at a sold out show at the INEC Arena, Killarney this December. They will also play a special headline show this December at Cork City Hall with a full 135 piece orchestra and choir conducted by Tomás McCarthy. With their fourth single scheduled for release soon, 2020 promises to be an explosive year for the three brothers.
